For as long as she can remember, Emily Brooks has loved drawing. Inspired by the orchards and creeks she explored as a child, Emily pursued her dream of creating illustrations that captivate children and adults alike and attended Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) where she received a BFA in Illustration. Emily specializes in Botanical Illustration and is co-founder of The Foliage Library, a pop-up book series about nature. Focusing on details, Emily creates intriguing illustrations with subjects ranging from serious to surreal. Her personal work often involves her love of patterns, nature, word-play and humorous scenarios. Emily currently lives in Upstate New York where she finds four leaf clovers almost daily, and works as an illustrator and designer for Saratoga Springs Publishing.
